As I've commented elsewhere, it is never easy to make sense (or attach importance) to Amazon statistics. Has anyone, for instance, been able to quantify the much-hyped success of the Kindle in terms that satisfy the scrutiny of the real business world?
One possibly useful feature of the Amazon website (the US parent only at this stage) is its Author Pages. Perhaps more of the BHW writers would like to create one of these as a promotional feature. I do believe mine has been helpful with the paperback original Misfit Lil Cheats the Hangrope, and I hope to repeat the exercise with Liberty and a Law Badge, which has already drawn fine reviews, notably from James Reasoner at Rough Edges and Laurie Powers at Laurie's Wild West.
